In November 2011, Dick Gordon traveled to Haiti to find out how people were doing two years after the earthquake. Among the Haitians he met: the "president" of one of the largest camps; a construction worker building pre-fab homes for the displaced; an artist making sculpture from human bones; and nursing students at FSIL. He found stories and ideas about what it will take for Haiti to rebuild, or better yet, in the words of a popular Haitian song,"dekole," which means "take off."

The radio segment about FSIL aired Thursday, January 12, 2012.
