The purpose of the Haiti Nursing Foundation is to support the advancement of nursing in the Republic of Haiti.

Student nurses and nurse educators throughout the United States and Canada have gotten involved with the Haiti Nursing Foundation and the FSIL nursing school in Léogâne, Haiti in a variety of ways.

• You and your school or your Student Nurses Association can host a fundraising event for your fellow colleagues in Haiti.
• You can sponsor a student and help pay for a student's entire expenses ($3,000) for one year. Sponsors receive regular updates and photos of their student.
• Become a visiting faculty member and teach at FSIL nursing school in Haiti, typically for a period of two weeks. Transportation costs are reimbursed by the Haiti Nursing Foundation. (see our Visiting Faculty page)
