The purpose of the Haiti Nursing Foundation is to support the advancement of nursing in the Republic of Haiti.

Governing Board

The Governing Board of the Faculté des Sciences Infirmières de l’Université Episcopale d’Haïti (FSIL nursing school) is appointed by Rt. Rev. Jean Zaché Duracin, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, to provide direction and supervision towards the stated mission and vision of FSIL. The first meeting of the Governing Board was held in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on October 1, 2004. The executive committee meets monthly by telephone conference, and the whole board meets twice a year face-to-face.
