Master’s Program in Nursing Education

With your help, FSIL has been the leader in nursing education in Haiti for over 15 years. It is critical that we turn our attention to sustaining this success. To do this, FSIL is initiating a new, exciting program; a Master’s Program in Nursing Education (MNEd).

This program will accomplish two critical purposes:

  • Ensure that the next generation of nurse educators have cutting edge knowledge and skills for teaching; and

  • Promote learning and leadership skill development that will impact the Haitian nursing education community and healthcare systems in Haiti.

FSIL stands for highly qualified faculty and nurses, who are educationally prepared to advance into leadership roles within Haiti’s nursing schools and healthcare systems.

The MNEd program will be led by Dr. Jessie Colin, who a similar program at Barry University here in the U.S. The curriculum is planned and ready to go and Dr. Colin has recruited two other faculty, among her colleagues, to help teach this program.

FSIL has requested help to initiate this program and start-up funds are now required to move the program forward.  Your support is needed to help develop highly qualified faculty and leaders for healthcare in Haiti!

HNF Board members will match donations to encourage and support this crucial program. Show your support today!
